Job Overview The Administrative Assistant I will play a vital role in providing exceptional administrative support to our managers. This position involves a variety of tasks such as route monitoring, clerical duties, and customer service functions. We are looking for candidates who can handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. Shift: M-Wed and F-Sat 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (off Sundays and Thursdays) Pay: $16.42/hour Key Responsibilities: Prepare and audit route paperwork for the upcoming day. Handle inbound phone calls with professionalism. Resolve customer inquiries and issues effectively. Communicate with vendors regarding damaged or replacement orders. Promptly respond to emails. Manage pending orders and related paperwork. Maintain organized filing systems. Exhibit strong customer service skills. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. Assist with the processing of inbound delivery teams. Monitor delivery routes throughout your shift. Track route progress, making calls to drivers as needed. Contact customers to gather feedback on their delivery experience. Support the completion of Proof of Delivery (POD) packets at the warehouse. Prepare nightly closing reports diligently. Work independently while maintaining a professional demeanor. Communicate effectively with builders, contractors, and supervisors. Process and prepare freight for shipments and returns. Contribute to daily warehouse functions as required. Update inventory records regularly. Assist delivery and installation teams remotely when necessary. Ensure accurate order updates for billing purposes. Complete any additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Prior customer service experience is preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work evenings and Saturdays is required. Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
