OVERVIEW As a Product Manager, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within our digital products tailored for Medical Education and Medical Practice. This role focuses on rejuvenating a diverse portfolio of digital solutions for both B2B and B2C markets, including pharmacy education and clinical decision support. You will guide API strategy, oversee eCommerce initiatives, and drive growth in a mature product suite that faces unique challenges. Collaborating with various departments, you'll deliver impactful solutions designed to meet the evolving needs of healthcare learners, practitioners, and related medical fields. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development and execution of API strategies for assigned products by conducting market research, gathering customer requirements, and managing go-to-market planning and lifecycle management. Oversee both B2B and B2C eCommerce strategies, enhancing digital sales channels and improving the customer experience. Drive product revitalization efforts by assessing strengths and weaknesses against competitors and implementing strategies for growth and differentiation. Conduct thorough market, UX, and customer research to uncover insights on workflows, purchase drivers, pricing, and customer satisfaction. Propose and implement activities like surveys and interviews to identify needs and market trends. Create product roadmaps aligned with business goals, clearly articulating the vision for features and enhancements. Support the creation of business plans and P&Ls for significant initiatives. Write high-level requirements based on customer and UX research, and collaborate with the product owner to finalize technical specifications. Manage project schedules and goals while coordinating cross-functional initiatives, providing regular updates to supervisors and senior leadership. Work closely with marketing, sales, customer support, editorial, technology, and other teams to deliver innovative solutions and effective product launches. Act as the subject matter expert on product features and their value propositions, presenting to sales teams and occasionally to customers about positioning within the product suite. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Experience: 3+ years in digital product management, ideally within medical, education, or publishing sectors, with a focus on API productization. Experience in API lifecycle management and eCommerce strategies specific to healthcare. Proven ability to independently translate high-level objectives into actionable plans, leading cross-functional teams to achieve them. Strong analytical skills to develop data-backed business proposals. Collaborative experience managing diverse stakeholders within cross-functional teams. Expertise in requirements-gathering and writing high-level specifications, identifying edge cases and gaps. Familiarity with project management practices, contributing to staying on track and mitigating risks. Experience in Medical Education (medical schools, PA, and/or pharmacy) and Medical Practice markets is highly preferred. Encourages a transparent and collaborative team environment. TRAVEL: 2-3 times per year Compensation: $75,900.00 - $129,950.00 USD; this role is eligible for a bonus.
