Appliance Delivery Specialist

Job Description As an Appliance Delivery Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing customer satisfaction by supporting the delivery, installation, and repair of appliances and electronics. This position, known internally as a Delivery Experience Cadet, encompasses a variety of tasks essential for fulfilling customer orders effectively. In addition to deliveries, you will expertly navigate the challenges of installation by evaluating the best approaches to set up major appliances in homes. Your responsibilities will include measuring and protecting pathways and determining if any fixtures or doors need adjustments. What you'll do Lead or assist in appointments individually or with a partner, completing installations and repairs of home theater equipment and appliances. Evaluate delivery routes to safely bring major appliances into customers' homes, ensuring proper measurements and protection of items in transit. Skillfully remove and re-install doors and panels as needed for successful installations. Enhance the customer experience by advising on product placement and providing valuable insights on services. Collaborate with team members to manage inventory and maintain vehicle condition. Handle paperwork and payment processes accurately while providing constructive feedback to store teams and performing in-store repairs. Basic qualifications At least 6 months of experience in customer service, sales, installation, or delivering large products. A valid driver's license is required. Maintain a driving record that aligns with Best Buy's safety standards. Ability to lift up to 350 pounds individually or 700 pounds with assistance while utilizing support tools. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Complete any required state or local licensing within 90 days of hiring. Preferred qualifications Strong leadership, decision-making, written and verbal communication skills, and excellent client relations abilities.
