Description The Staff Management | SMX team located in Pittsburgh, PA, is currently seeking Packaging/Palletizing candidates to join the production team at Tandem Foods. In this role, you will be responsible for packing, palletizing, and preparing products for shipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is an essential position that requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining safety standards. This position is a full-timeposition, and the shift and pay are as follows: Monday - Friday 1st / A Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm ($15.53/hour) 2nd / B Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm ($16.46/hour) 3rd / C Shift: 11:00pm - 7:30am ($16.46/hour) Day Shift: 7:00am - 7:30pm ($15.53/hour) Night Shift: 7:00pm - 7:30am ($16.46/hour) Must have reliable transportation. Lift, carry, and stack 10-20 lb boxes, often picking up 2-3 boxes at a time and placing them onto pallets. Properly stack pallets to ensure safe and organized shipping of products. Wrap finished pallets securely for shipment. Perform routine checks to ensure product quality and accuracy. Maintain a fast-paced work environment while meeting production goals and deadlines. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. Stand, bend, and reach throughout the entire shift, performing repetitive motions. This is an entry level labor position. Requirements are as follows but not limited to: Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of your shift Must have reliable transportation Must be able to read, write and speak English Ability to lift, carry, and stack boxes weighing 10-20 lbs consistently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets. Physical stamina to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
