Join Our Team as a Gas Service Technician! We offer competitive starting pay, beginning at $21.00/hr and increasing up to $27.00/hr for experienced technicians. Your Responsibilities Include: Repairing paint coatings on affected pipes. Checking gas meters for leaks and corrosion through visual inspections and ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed. Arriving on time to your designated work area at the start of each shift. Identifying any abnormal operating conditions on-site and addressing them appropriately. Completing all forms associated with inspection visits, whether electronic or paper-based. What We Require from You: Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; prior outdoor experience is a plus. Availability for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. Ability to travel locally during business hours, with potential for out-of-area travel. The capability to pass a drug screen as this is a safety-sensitive position. A valid driver's license and a good driving record. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift items up to 75 lbs, and navigate various terrains. Color vision necessary for identifying wiring and marking underground utilities. Proficiency with computers. Ability to read and understand locate tickets, maps, and perform basic math calculations.
