Attractive salary package Monday to Friday daytime schedule Excellent work/life balance with no nights, weekends, or on-call duties Comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision, effective on day of hire Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Health Savings Account (HSA) Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401k plan along with Short and Long-Term disability and life insurance Tuition Reimbursement opportunities Wound Care Certification support Fully company-paid malpractice insurance Attractive discount programs Personalized lab coat provided Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities: Plan, oversee, and assess health care for residents and staff in long-term care settings Travel daily to various Skilled Nursing Facilities based on scheduling needs Diagnose and treat chronic and acute wound-related concerns, minor injuries, and accidents Interpret diagnostic tests and recommend appropriate follow-up actions Collaborate with physicians, prescribe medications, and perform bedside procedures relevant to wound care Work alongside the medical director to ensure high-quality care for residents and staff Conduct debridement of wounds through safe and effective methods during patient visits Manage and apply topical wound care and necessary products Advise on complementary services to enhance wound healing outcomes Educate patients and Primary Care Physicians on current best practices in wound care Qualifications and Requirements: Proof of Covid vaccination Must hold a current registered nurse license Active, unrestricted state APRN license or ability to obtain before hiring Completion of an accredited nurse practitioner program Approval from the Board of Nursing to perform medical acts Master's degree in Nursing Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for more than 4 hours Lift up to 100 pounds to assist residents Regular lifting of 10 pounds for essential tasks Push and pull weights of over 70 pounds during patient care Capable of bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting during care Depth perception essential for medical procedures Work Environment: Exposure to a range of indoor and outdoor conditions, bloodborne pathogens, and physical hazards Travel required to multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities in your area Covid vaccination required for this position Job Type: Full-time Salary: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually Provider Bonus Plan: Eligible Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Work Location: Traveling between facilities Healing Partners is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a diverse environment for all employees and applicants.
