Bonuses are paid in two installments. Shift Supervisor Responsibilities Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager, Shift Supervisors are the champions of delivering better burgers! Your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the performance of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff Fostering a positive, enjoyable work environment Managing effective people-focused processes and systems Providing initial training and ongoing support using SmashConnect, LMS, and a 4-step training method Recognizing and rewarding exceptional employee performance Ensuring daily operational checklists are completed ethically, including line checks and uniform compliance Implementing opening and closing checklists, as well as safe and deposit logs Monitoring guest experience metrics (NPS and OSAT) Upholding FSC operational standards diligently Ensuring compliance with all food safety standards based on local health regulations Demonstrating exemplary guest service and communicating SIZZLE service standards Successfully onboarding and training new employees Managing food ordering and inventory in line with COGS procedures Adhering to company cash policies to minimize losses Handling daily labor management responsibilities Shift Supervisor Requirements Prior experience as a Shift Leader or Supervisor Completion of a train-the-trainer course within 90 days Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed Compliance with Smashburger uniform standards Adherence to all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger and relevant regulations Successful completion of the Smashburger training program Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with management, staff, and corporate teams Proficiency in people management including selection, assessment, coaching, and motivation Great attention to detail in all operations Exceptional time management, organizational, and consistency skills Highly motivated, independent, and results-oriented Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 lbs.
