The sustainable innovations we offer are foundational to modern living. Chemours seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to enhance our thriving Maintenance team! This position will report directly to the Maintenance and Reliability Manager at our Louisville, KY location. The Senior Reliability Engineer will be accountable for site reliability, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance of maintenance practices in a high hazard environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership in change management and excel at team development. Key Responsibilities: Formulate a comprehensive reliability strategy and actionable plans to enhance production capabilities while ensuring maintenance activities are cost-effective and prioritized. Create a 5-year strategic plan for maintenance reliability enhancements. Maintain a dashboard of maintenance metrics to drive improvements and prioritize necessary actions. Establish a robust cost management framework for reliability that identifies areas for improvement and outlines short- and long-term action plans to reduce overall costs. Lead the development of asset management plans, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and manage long-term maintenance outages in alignment with business goals. Develop a strategy and plan for spare equipment and parts that optimize production capabilities and working capital. Ensure effective integration and continuous improvement of the CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) within Management of Change processes. Plan and execute long-term maintenance outages/turnarounds effectively, closely collaborating with Operations to achieve budget, scope, and schedule goals. Represent the Louisville site in corporate reliability and maintenance networks to influence best practices development and localization. Promote and support Organizational Health within the reliability and maintenance team. This role is primarily day-based but may require some evening and weekend work to support production needs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, leading maintenance and reliability programs, and managing direct reports OR equivalent military experience. Proficiency in Process Safety Management (PSM), particularly related to safe design change management, PHAs, and Mechanical Integrity programs. Strong skills in technical analysis, team building, and organizational change leadership, with the ability to define current states, identify opportunities, and strategize for improved future states. Exceptional interpersonal and influence management capabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in project management and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma or Lean). Professional Reliability Certification (e.g., CRE, CRP, CRL, CMRP, RE Certificate). Strong familiarity with SAP-PM, SAP-MM, and Maintenance Work Management Systems. Experience in high hazard process manufacturing. Knowledge of national standards such as API 510, 570, and 653. Pay Range: $93,184.00 - $145,600.00 Chemours Level: 25 Annual Bonus Target: 8% The pay range provided reflects the primary location for this position and is not a guarantee of total compensation.
