Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:RN - Med Surg Tele Job Details:• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on 3x12 or 4x12 schedule• Every other weekend required with weekday shifts• Guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (discuss during interview)• Patient ratio of 1:7 using team nursing approach• Team consists of 1 RN, 1 LPN, and 1 Nursing Assistant for 7-8 patients• May be floated to meet facility needs when necessary• No call requirement• 2 years of nursing experience required• WV or Compact RN license required (pending license acceptable)• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)• Must have skills in telemetry, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and management of dysrhythmias• Care for medical patients with emphasis on cardiovascular disease• Collaborate with health team members including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams• Scrub color: Royal Blue/White for RNs• Charting system: Cerner with SBAR and Accudose• 24-hour orientation with modules completed prior to start (2-4 hours, non-billable)• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case)• Limited to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays for time off requests Facility:This healthcare organization operates as a short-term acute care facility and Level IV Trauma Center, serving as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems.
