KPMG is excited to present an opportunity for a Cyber Security Operations Leadership Role within our Enterprise Security Services organization. This fully remote position is geared towards enhancing our cyber security initiatives and protocols. Key Responsibilities: Utilize your expertise in IT security and incident response, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), to oversee our continuous cyber security operations, crafting and documenting comprehensive processes through playbooks and automation. Manage incident management tasks, threat hunting, and forensic analysis, while implementing effective remediation strategies to minimize risks; conduct regular vulnerability assessments and evaluate security change requests. Define, configure, and enhance security monitoring tools, including establishing alerts, correlation rules, and reporting mechanisms; develop automated solutions for monitoring and responding to security incidents. Analyze security events with intelligence and analytical resources to inform customized risk prioritization and mitigation strategies, sharing insights to improve our security standards. Act as a subject matter expert, staying updated with the latest security technologies and practices, mentoring team members, and building strong relationships with internal tech teams to ensure cohesive collaborative strategies. Lead team deliverables, manage small to medium-scale projects, oversee stakeholder expectations, and play a key role in leadership decision-making while supervising junior staff members. Exhibit integrity, professionalism, and accountability, maintaining KPMG's standards for a respectful work environment. Qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience in cyber security, network, or general IT operations with comprehensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred; relevant certifications such as CISSP and Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer are beneficial. Demonstrated project and operational experience in security monitoring, incident response, and successful implementation of processes and automation. Outstanding communication, collaboration, analytical, and presentation skills to facilitate teamwork and provide excellent customer service; adept at leading discussions within a matrix environment. Ability to engage in resource planning and project estimation; flexibility to work shift schedules as needed. Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. KPMG offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
