About the Team The AWS Developer Agents and Experiences (DAE) team is revolutionizing the builder experience using generative AI and foundation models. We harness the latest advancements in AI to transform the way engineers work, from IDE environments to web-based tools and services, enabling developers to efficiently handle projects of any scale. AWS Utility Computing (UC) pushes forward product innovations, delivering foundational services such as Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), along with consistent new releases that differentiate AWS in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you will play a vital role in developing and managing a variety of services related to Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Applications within AWS. Basic Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of experience in building models for business applications. PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field. Demonstrated experience with patents or publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. Experience in areas including algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, and high-performance computing. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. Experience in professional software development. Amazon is an equal opportunity employer. The salary range for this position is as follows: USA, CA, Santa Clara - $171,600.00 - $222,200.00 annually; USA, WA, Seattle - $142,800.00 - $193,200.00 annually. Compensation packages also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), and are determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Additionally, Amazon provides comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
