The Bill Munday School of BusinessGraduate Programs Manager St. Edward's University of Austin, Texas, invites applications for the position of Graduate Programs Manager at The Bill Munday School of Business. Reporting directly to the Dean, the Graduate Programs Manager provides comprehensive operations, advising, recruitment, retention, and accreditation support for graduate programs in The Bill Munday School of Business, engaging with faculty, staff, and students in a dynamic and collegial environment. The Bill Munday School of Business (MSB) is AACSB-accredited and delivers an experiential, values-based education anchored in the Holy Cross traditions of learning and service. MSB prepares students to excel professionally in the dynamic 21st century business environment by integrating entrepreneurial thinking, social enterprise, innovation management, business analytics, and global collaboration into all of its academic and co-curricular programs. Currently, MSB offers four master's programs in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting Analytics (MSAA), Business Analytics (MSBA), and Digital Marketing and Analytics (MSDGMA).For consideration, candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university; a degree in business or a master's degree is preferred.3+ years of professional experience, preferably in a higher education environmentExceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skillsCollaborative and collegial disposition with a team-player attitudeHigh level of professionalism and discretionExperience communicating and collaborating with diverse constituentsMeticulous attention to detailAbility to anticipate and flexibly respond to needs as they ariseAbility to complete tasks promptly, accurately, and proactivelyAbility to multi-task managing diverse stakeholders and time-sensitive requests with long-term organizational and administrative processes; demonstrated skill in time and workflow managementAdvanced skill in standard office software programs, especially ExcelExperience with and/or willingness to learn specialized software and technology platforms, including Banner, Smartsheet, Tableau, Qualtrics, Canvas, Box, Zoom, Concur, Watermark, and Argos Essential Responsibilities Include: Graduate Programs Operations & Advising Support Serve as a proactive, trusted resource for MSB graduate students, offering personalized support, timely communication, and solutions that ensure student satisfaction and success.Manage MSB graduate student advising and registration in close collaboration with student success coach(es), tracking degree progress, and offering student guidance.Support the Graduate Program Director(s) in facilitating course rotation schedules based on evolving student and program needs.Manage all aspects of MSB's Accelerated Graduate Pathways program, including pathway development and oversight of the student journey from interest to application to graduate class enrollment to full graduate program matriculation.Maintain on-campus presence for residency programs (6 Saturdays per year) and lead logistics for residency lunch-and-learns, professional development activities, and other residency events, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for students, faculty, and guests.Identify opportunities to improve the graduate experience; partner with Graduate Program Directors, faculty, and Career and Professional Development partners to design and deliver co-curricular initiatives that enrich academic and professional growth; and lead planning and execution for new student orientations and graduation celebrations/events.Manage graduation certifications across all MSB graduate programs.Facilitate probation and dismissal decisions and notifications for all graduate programs, six cycles per year.Manage, coordinate, and advise both students and the Graduate Program Director(s) on administrative approvals (transfer of credit, late adds, withdrawals, special permissions, courses off campus).Provide liaison support for the Graduate Business Student Association.Assist the Graduate Program Director(s) with the identification of eligible students for scholarships.Serve as an ex-officio member on MSB Curriculum Committee to provide graduate program-related insights.Join the Dean in representing MSB on Graduate Council.Ensure all graduate academic operations run smoothly, with emphasis on quality, efficiency, and consistency. Graduate Programs Recruitment & Retention Support Collaborate with campus and external partners to bolster MSB graduate program recruitment and retention.Support the Dean and Graduate Program Director(s) in strategic outreach with corporate and community partners to help boost graduate program enrollment and increase external visibility of MSB graduate programs.Represent MSB at both external and internal graduate program recruiting events, modeling professionalism, friendliness, discretion, and articulate communication of MSB's value proposition. Graduate Programs Accreditation Support Manage accreditation and assessment data for MSB graduate programs to help MSB academic leaders make informed decisions, drive strategy, track KPIs, and ensure accreditation standards.Manage the collection of indirect measures of student learning, including employer and consulting client surveys, for all graduate programs.Provide other support of School and University accreditation efforts as needed.
