Why Choose Wendy's? Position Overview As a Restaurant Shift Supervisor, you will take on an essential management role that involves overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. You will be responsible for opening and closing procedures, ensuring high standards of quality and exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Train and monitor crew members on food safety procedures. Act as Cash Manager, ensuring cash registers are set up properly at opening and verified at closing. Conduct walk-throughs to guarantee the restaurant is ready for opening/closing and peak hours. Collaborate with the management team to train and communicate effectively with crew members, enhancing retention through team huddles and meetings. Supervise and coordinate daily operational tasks, ensuring compliance with company policies to deliver a delightful customer experience. Work with management to maintain quality standards, service production, and a safe environment for both customers and staff. Execute shift-specific procedures according to the Daily Operating Procedures (DOP) and support scheduling to meet customer service goals. Address and resolve Voice of Customer (VOC) issues as necessary. Onboard new hires using Workday. What We Expect from You Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. At least 6 months of experience in a restaurant, retail, or customer service environment is required. Full-time availability for close and weekend shifts. Certification as an Open/Close Shift Manager is necessary. Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and composure, and effectively collaborate in a team atmosphere. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels; requires prolonged standing. Frequent lifting and physical activity required; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential, along with flexibility for potential transfers between locations. Must obtain ServSafe certification by the end of training.
