Nesco Resource is looking for a PCB Inspector located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate. Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (OT possible after training cycle) Pay: $20-$22 Based on Experience Position Summary: The PCB Inspector is responsible for performing first article, in-process, and final inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure products meet customer specifications and applicable quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of printed circuit boards (PCBs) Conduct solderability and workmanship inspections in accordance with quality standards Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with customer specifications and IPC-A-610 requirements Document and report non-conformances and route products for rework or repair as needed Follow work instructions, travelers, and customer documentation Support production schedules through timely and accurate inspection practices Work with production and other departments to ensure quality and delivery requirements are met Participate in internal and external audits and continuous improvement initiatives Identify process issues and recommend improvements Communicate equipment maintenance needs as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work are Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred Minimum of one (1) year experience as a PCB Inspector or three (3) years experience as a PCB Assembler (hand, SMT, or through-hole) Strong ability to identify defects and non-conformances against customer and IPC-A-610 standards Knowledge of SMT, through-hole, and hand assembly methods Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards (certification a plus) bility to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and customer documentation bility to identify electronic components Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting bility to stand, sit, and move throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs as needed bility to use hand tools, measuring devices, and inspection equipment, including magnification aids Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
