Join our dynamic team as a Material Support Supervisor and contribute to vital projects that enhance the safety and defense of our sailors serving in the U.S. Navy! This is an incredible opportunity to leverage your technical skills in a significant role that directly impacts the construction and support of COLUMBIA Class submarines. As a member of Team Submarine, you will enhance communication across various functions to better support the United States Submarine Force. Under the guidance of Navy veteran David Drury, our team has gained recognition for its meaningful contributions. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for submarine crew training and assist the Assistant Program Manager for Manpower and Training. Lead the Material Support Agent (MSA) team to ensure operational excellence while providing valuable mentorship. Oversee the preparation and review of shipboard manpower documentation. Manage the procurement process for parts and components needed for submarine trainers, ensuring thorough vendor capability assessments. Supervise the installation and testing of various submarine trainers. Ensure certification and qualification of submarine trainers meet all necessary standards. Assess crew training and trainer performance, providing mentoring as required. Create comprehensive crew performance reports for government customers and Ship's Force leadership. Lead the development and submission of personnel documentation, scheduling, and phasing plans in accordance with Navy standards. Support organizational meetings and workshops by drafting agendas and minutes as necessary. Collaborate effectively with senior military and government personnel. Be prepared for travel up to 25% of the time for job-related duties. Qualifications: Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Bachelor's degree required, or a High School/GED with at least 12 years of active-duty submarine experience in lieu of a degree. Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Excel. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while independently managing multiple tasks. Exceptional written and oral communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams. Detail-oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines. Preferred Experience: Senior leadership experience in a submarine environment, particularly in new construction or overhaul projects. Experience as Chief of the Boat (COB) or Engineering Department Master Chief (EDMC). Background in submarine piloting and maintenance material management.
