Most roles at Coinbase offer remote flexibility, but in-person collaboration is crucial throughout the year. We have multiple team and company-wide offsite events annually to enhance collaboration and connection, making attendance mandatory and fully supported. We seek a Product Manager who can enhance collaboration through Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms, specifically Archer and Workiva. You'll be pivotal in driving effective communication, reducing distractions, and leveraging AI to optimize interactions with work artifacts. By collaborating closely with Engineering, IT, Security, Compliance, and risk stakeholders, you will create the product vision and roadmap, aligning teams on measurable customer and business outcomes, ultimately assessing improvements in communication efficiency and execution effectiveness. Your role will set the direction for the GRC platform through informed, strategic decisions that reflect our company objectives and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Own the strategic and tactical roadmap for the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function, ensuring alignment with Coinbase's key objectives. Translate long-term strategies into actionable plans, including defining problem statements, target outcomes, and a prioritized backlog of features and technologies with clear KPIs/OKRs. Lead the delivery process from discovery and scoping to execution with agile teams, managing risks, dependencies, and timelines, while promoting adoption through effective change management, training, and enablement. Establish governance and communication processes to define and manage the roadmap, conduct stakeholder reviews, and provide executive-ready updates on progress, risks, and decisions. Enhance platform quality through standards, interoperability, data accuracy, and integrated controls, ensuring scalability, reliability, and auditability within ERM and compliance workflows. Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders regarding ERM and compliance platform initiatives, utilizing external insights and best practices to inform decision-making. Qualifications: A minimum of 6 years of experience in business applications development or product management focused on internal products. Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Compliance, and Technology Risk processes. Experience in an Agile environment and familiarity with Jira. Cross-functional experience addressing technical challenges with diverse teams (ERM, Compliance, Product, Legal, Finance) and the ability to unify stakeholders around a shared vision. Experience working with organizations of various sizes, with a preference for larger enterprises. A BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Business Administration is preferred. Proficiency in vendor management and third-party software implementation. Experience managing or implementing Archer, Workiva, or similar ERM platforms is highly desired. Strong project management skills across multiple projects. User-centric mindset with a focus on building intuitive, reliable, and scalable experiences. Analytical ability for market analysis, opportunity assessment, and extracting actionable insights from complex data. Proven experience leading AI-powered product initiatives. A keen interest in exploring and testing new technologies and vendors. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in financial institutions is an advantage. Experience in developing software applications for internal use.
