Experienced Class A Truck Driver

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving a variety of vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and heavy equipment. This is a local driving position that requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. Duties:  Operate a range of vehicles, including dump truck, side-dumps and flatbed trucks - Drive safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant traffic laws and regulations - Load and unload goods as necessary - Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition - Manage routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery - Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise - Load and secure cargo according to relevant industry standards - Operate a forklift to load and unload cargo - Demonstrate expertise in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation - Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities - Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients - Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and oil levels Skills: - Experience operating vehicles with manual transmissions - Familiarity with route driving and regional lane navigation - Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts - Knowledge of commercial driving regulations - Ability to operate dump truck, side-dump and flatbed trucks - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to work varying shifts and overtime as needed - Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record - Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Dental insurance Fuel card Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Trucking Driver Type: Company driver Trucking Route: Local Experience: Driving: 4 years (Required) License/Certification: CDL A (Required) Ability to Commute: Springville, UT 84663 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Springville, UT 84663: Relocate before starting work (Required)
