The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of our Maintenance team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site. Hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 Position Details Phibro Biotechnics is a worldwide leader in the development of bioproducts for a large range of bioremediation and bioaugmentation applications including wastewater, soil/ground water, industrial and consumer products, poultry, and agriculture. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our maintenance team in this fulltime position. This position is 1st shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm, with some weekend work and OT potential. The position will be responsible for the safe and overall efficient operation of the production line equipment and facilities. Maintain and troubleshoot all facilities utilities Perform equipment preventive maintenance Install, maintain and troubleshoot motors, switches, control components, solenoids, etc. Maintain a positive working relationship Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 8 hours Adhere to standard operating procedures and GMP practices Key Competencies Attendance and Punctuality Collaborative Delivering High Quality Work Following Policies and Procedures Initiative and Responsibility Managing Time Performing Physical or Mechanical Tasks Prioritizing and Organizing Work Working Safely Skills Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements. General maintenance skills Able to satisfactorily complete all safety related training required to execute job functions. Education & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing facility 1 year of experience in industrial equipment maintenance HazMat experience a plus Physical Requirements Reach upward Required to bend occasionally Required to climb occasionally Required to lift or carry 21 to 50 lbs Required to squat or kneel frequently Required to talk or hear constantly Required to use hands constantly This position is designated as a "SafetySensitive Position".
