Our smart solutions deliver value from pre-planning to long after the project is complete.Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare and edit documents; maintain spreadsheets; update databases; coordinate and compile data; provide reports.Receive, verify, and copy crew member timesheets.Maintain and update daily and weekly lists, including phone, crew, and project lists.Prepare documents, including foremen handbooks, employee sign-up packets, marketing books, etc.Prepare storm rosters, lists for union halls, email for accounting, possibly assist with hotel reservations, etc.Assist staff with document management.Organize paper and electronic files in such a manner that others can locate files when needed.Copy and send documentation via fax, email, mail, and express mail.Perform other routine office administrative tasks as assigned.Cross-train in all facets of the Utility Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time. The person in this role will uphold the culture of J.F. Electric, including relationship building with customers as well as general behavior on J.F. Electric or client premises or at J.F. Electric sponsored events.Requirements/Qualifications: A high school diploma is required, and an associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.Two (2) years' administrative/office experience required; experience in the construction industry preferred.Proficiency in MS Office and other office productivity tools, with an aptitude to learn new software and systems.Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and planning skills.
