No Travel Security Clearance Required Not Required Job Description Position Overview Under general supervision responsible for performing routine office support duties in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general accounting in support of the DUF6 project sites. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities of support in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned: Functional: Checks, verifies, and posts journal vouchers Maintains financial data files Prepares journal entries and data system documents for payment Prepares cost accruals Ensures the accuracy of subcontractor timekeeping, invoices and expense reports Assigns general ledger account numbers and determines taxability/exemption from sales and use tax with regard to purchase requisitions Audits expense report reimbursements Utilizes current Kentucky and Ohio regulatory and administrative requirements to ensure sales and use tax compliance Prepares backup and audit trails for auditors for accounts payable and sales and use tax transactions Tracks legal costs Performs data entry of subcontractor payments Prepares IRS 1099 forms Job Requirements Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required We are equal opportunity/affirmative action employers, committed to diversity in the workplace.
