Description The Fleet PM and Parts Coordinator leads preventive maintenance and inventory programs to reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and support equipment purchasing decisions. Reporting to the Director of Transportation, this role develops and maintains Equipment Maintenance Plans (EMPs), defines task schedules and requirements, and collaborates with mechanics to implement effective PM strategies in MP2. Responsibilities include roadside driver support (including after hours), vendor management, parts procurement and purchase orders, budget oversight, asset performance monitoring, work order review, and inventory control, including cycle counts and management of slow-moving stock. Qualified candidates must have: Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills. Proven ability in managing, following up, and completing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to adapt effectively within a continually changing and demanding environment. Demonstrates effective leadership and mentoring skills to efficiently train other staff Strong knowledge of trucking equipment. Comprehensive and efficient computer skills Must be able to demonstrate an ability and willingness to communicate effectively with multiple departments within the company. Proficient in reading and interpreting standard operating procedures, DOT regulations, federal requirements, and company guidelines to ensure full regulatory compliance. Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 annual salary; commesurates with experience, skill, and education. Position Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). A minimum of 2 years experience with semi tractor and trailer maintenance. A minimum of 2 years experience in inventory and purchasing. Class A CDL is preferred, but not required.
