Job Type Part-time Description Job purpose Responsible for onsite finance tasks including processing mail and checks. This job will help with a number of administrative and simple accounting tasks to assist the Associate Director of Finance and keep the Finance Department running smoothly. Duties and responsibilities 1. Receive checks from Student Success and Stewardship, deposit to the appropriate bank accounts via the RDC machine, and record transactions in Sage Intacct. (25%) 2. Assist the Associate Director of Finance with bank and other account reconciliations. (25%) 3. Assist the Accounts Payable Clerk with the review and management of expenses reports and invoice processing. (15%) 4. Receive, review, and disseminate mail to appropriate team members. (15%) 5. Bookkeeping for the Food Services and WTS Shoppe (15%) 6. Other responsibilities as required by supervisor. (5%) Requirements Skills Good organizational and communication skills Excellent attention to detail Intermediate technological skills preferred Qualifications Finance or accounting exposure preferred, but not required Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) preferred Experience in a non-profit environment helpful Attributes Ability to work as part of a team Ability to work with a minimum of supervision while meeting deadlines Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Deep familiarity and appreciation of Westminster Theological Seminary's mission, theology, and curriculum Working conditions This is an on-campus, in-person position. This is a part time position, with 15-20 hours per week expected, but may be increased to 25 hours, depending on performance and department staffing needs.
