Under general direction of the Supervisory Facilities Operations Specialist/Facility Manager and in partnership with the Production Controller, incumbent to coordinate, supervise, and train all staff engaged in the operation, maintenance, and repair of California Air National Guard buildings assigned to the 163 rd Attack Wing; incumbent may instruct, lead or supervise CMD personnel, and do other related work. Desirable Qualifications In addition to evaluating each candidate's relative ability, as demonstrated by quality and breadth of experience, the following factors will provide the basis for competitively evaluating each candidate: Experience in the operation and maintenance of complex building systems, specifically high-pressure steam boilers, HVAC, water treatment, and sewage disposal. Experience with various trades, including carpentry, masonry, painting, and electrical systems. Technical proficiency in maintaining and repairing specialized equipment such as transformers, chlorinators, compressors, and electronic fire alarm systems. Experience in developing and executing long-term building maintenance programs and construction schedules.
