Quality Technician The Quality Technician is responsible for conducting inspection for incoming materials, in-process materials, fall-out and finished goods per Sensitech procedures and quality standards. The Quality Technician conducts inspections in Production as outlined by Sensitech technical specifications and international standards. Onsite in Redmond, WA. Key Responsibilities Production procedural, administrative, documentation Work cooperatively with other departments to meet production quality objectives and continuous improvement goals. Ensure that the Operator(s) adhere to production procedures through random in-process inspections. Audit production procedures for accuracy and effectiveness. Investigate deviations and provide Preventative/Corrective action plans and assure implementation. Inspect and approve materials and/or documentation for shipments including customer specific order requirements. Executes daily tests in support of incoming inspection i.e., release materials through ERP system from inspection; generate and maintain production quality records, reports, and documentation. Provide monthly metrics, and detailed reports to management. Meet and maintain ISO9001 requirements, lean activities, and Sensitech Cx standards. Quality technical, data analysis, problem solving, communication Support required evaluation and disposition of non-conforming materials. Work collaboratively with Quality, suppliers and internal resources to drive quality improvements. Utilize Sensitech Quality documentation and procedures to properly respond to customer issues. Participate in transition plans for new product launch and support. Support QA Engineer to review supplier's quality inspection data and note trends. Assure requirements for equipment maintenance, 5S, and EHS are identified and addressed. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of experience in electronic product manufacturing or quality control. Preferred Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree Effective English written and verbal communication skills. Inter-personal skills. Knowledge in electronic product manufacturing control, and quality problem solving tools, such as 8D corrective/ preventive action, FMEA, etc. Organized self-starter, work independently, proactive, and willing to learn. ISO 9001 and Lean quality system knowledge. Computer literate I.e., ERP systems, Windows, MS Office, Visio and Internet.
