About the Role Our LHH client is expanding its accounting team and needs a Cash Application Specialist who can support daily payment posting activities, research discrepancies, and maintain clean, organized accounts within the Accounts Receivable department. Key Responsibilities Accurately post high-volume customer payments including checks, ACH, wires, and credit cards Review remittance information to ensure proper invoice matching Investigate and resolve unapplied, short-paid, or misapplied payments Communicate with internal departments and customers to clarify payment issues Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing tasks Maintain accurate customer account records Identify opportunities to improve cash application processes and workflow Candidate Requirements Minimum of 1 year of cash application, AR, billing, or banking experience Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced accounting environment Experience with ERP systems and intermediate Excel skills Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Reliable, professional, and eager to learn Compensation and Benefits Direct hire position Pay up to $25/hr based on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement options Training, support, and opportunities for career advancement How to Apply As an LHH recruiter, I will guide you through every step of the hiring process, including resume review and interview preparation.
