Veterinary Urgent Care of the Desert Veterinary Urgent Care of the Desert is a state-of-the-art Urgent Care and Surgery facility located in Palm Desert, California. We are looking for a passionate, talented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team. We are a team of enthusiastic veterinary professionals with a vision to bridge the gap between general practice and emergency medicine. About You Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with an active California license Minimum of 2 years experience, ideally in Urgent Care or Emergency medicine Consistently displays a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills and accountability High emotional intelligence, empathy and maturity Committed to providing the highest quality patient care Performs well in a team-oriented work environment Excellent problem solving skills and a positive attitude Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations Essential Job Functions Medical All California RVT medical related job abilities Will train as needed Administrative Assist Care Coordinators with answering phones as needed, using a professional and compassionate tone at all times Work with technology to ensure efficient workflow Act as a liaison between doctors, clients, and patients Obtain client and patient information for medical records Send messages to clients as needed Keep in consistent contact with in-hospital team members (via chat and/or phones) Maintain the flow of each patient visit.
