Junior Designer

A company is looking for a Junior Designer to support the 1-color team in creating engaging book designs. Key Responsibilities Design and set up mechanicals/effects plates for jackets, covers, and interiors Create engaging cover and interior designs through composition, typography, illustration, and photography Collaborate closely with the editorial team and other internal departments Required Qualifications 1 - 3 years of bookmaking experience Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design or a related field, or equivalent work experience Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Google Suite Strong portfolio demonstrating typographic skills Knowledge of and interest in the book publishing industry
