GAAP Senior Consultant

A company is looking for a GAAP Senior Consultant to join their Public Sector group, focusing on advisory and accounting needs for state and local governments. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day activities of U.S. GAAP compilations and reporting, agreed upon procedures, and special projects Identify accounting and reporting issues based on professional guidelines, providing recommendations for improvements Supervise staff, evaluate performance on client engagements, and assist with recruiting activities Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; Master's Degree or other advanced degree preferred CPA preferred Minimum five (5) years of experience in a professional services firm Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB Auditing Standards Demonstrated skills in client service, relationship building, and collaboration
