Quality Control Inspector Bilingual Des Plaines, Illinois Type: Temporary Job ID: 8763 Manufacturing/Production Salary: $20 Per Hour Posted Date: 01/28/2026 Job Description Quality Control Inspector Bilingual Job Duties Include: Perform in-process and final inspections of sheet metal parts Verify parts meet print specifications (dimensions, tolerances, hole locations, bends) Use basic measuring tools: Calipers Micrometers Tape measures Height gauges Go/No-Go gauges Inspect visual quality: Burrs, sharp edges Scratches, dents, cracks Weld quality (basic visual inspection) Confirm material type and thickness match job requirements Check surface finishes (powder coat, plating, paint) for coverage and defects Perform first-article inspections with guidance or established checklists Document inspection results on: Paper travelers Basic spreadsheets Quality forms Tag and segregate nonconforming parts Communicate defects to: Machine operators Supervisors Follow standard work instructions and inspection plans Maintain a clean and organized inspection area Requirements: Previous experience with Micrometers and Calipers Bilingual Preferred 6am-4pm Monday-Friday Plus Saturdays- OT when needed Long Term $20.00-22.00/hr Des Plaines, IL 60016 Please send resumes to All employees of Elite Staffing must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
