A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Austin, TX ! The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will be working for a respected healthcare organization and has career growth potential. Nurse Practitioner (NP) Highlights • The pay for this position is $74.87 per hour. • 32.5 hours per week on average, including every other weekend and possible holiday rotations • Onsite, patient-facing position • This position is a contract opportunity • Individual start • DEA registration application required upon offer acceptance (unless otherwise noted) • This position is safety sensitive Responsibilities • Provide primary and family evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning • Collaborate daily with a clinical care team to drive improved patient outcomes • Perform routine examinations and diagnostic testing • Manage chronic conditions and encourage patient participation in preventative health and wellness • Conduct patient education on lifestyle modifications and disease management • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive care plans • Perform administrative duties including opening/closing clinic, inventory management, insurance verification, patient follow-up, payment collection, and maintaining a clean clinical environment • Practice autonomously while collaborating frequently with professional colleagues Requirements • Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program • Current National Board Certification • Active NP license in the state of practice (in good standing) • Minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine or primary care (or completion of primary care training program) • Current BLS certification from ARC or AHA (required upon offer acceptance) • Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure as needed • Working knowledge of chronic disease quality measures • Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills • Proficient with EMR/EMS systems and healthcare technology • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative care team model • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED Candidate Questionnaire – MUST be included at the top of the resume: • Do you hold an NP/PA license that is active and in good standing within the state where you are applying? • License # and current valid dates • NPI # • How much experience do you have in a primary care setting? • What Electronic Medical Systems (EMS) have you used in the past? • Do you have any upcoming planned time off? • Are you actively working with a recruiter on a permanent role? • Are you open to occasional travel beyond that distance for float work (if necessary)? • Availability for interview • Availability to start if offered Benefits Available • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
