OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Colorado Varied Shifts Beginning ASAP - Ongoing Assignment Coverage Details Hospital coverage on various days Call schedule: 4 shifts per month whenever possible - 24-hour in-house Requirements Board Certified in OB/GYN Active Colorado license or active IMLC LOQ BLS, ACLS NRP Required Procedures/Skills: Low-risk pregnancy management (Patients with pre-existing problems, history of twins, history of toxemia, pyelonephritis, hyperemesis,etc. ) High-risk pregnancy management (Patients with toxemia, diabetes, Class II or higher cardiacs, chronic lung problems, chronic renal disease, etc. ) Fetal heart rate interpretation - NST, CST, FSE Routine vaginal delivery, low forceps, decision-making for C-section Complicated delivery - C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions VBACs Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology - open laparoscopic diagnostic/minor (tubal ligation, LOA, chromal tubation) Surgical gynecology - open operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA) OB ultrasounds - Interpretation, Level I/screening (viability) - Preferred Assignment Details: Case mix: 70% low-risk pregnancy, 30% high-risk pregnancy, 21% C-section Average hospital patients per day: 4-5 Average deliveries per week: 3-4 Average OB/GYN surgeries per week: 1-4 emergent Group size: 7 OB/GYNs + 4 mid-levels Other OB/GYNs will be present during locum coverage Lab & ultrasound onsite (performed by tech) Nursery services: Level II (transfers available to higher-level NICU) EMR: Epic Jackson and Coker offers: + Weekly Direct Deposit + Top Rated Malpractice Insurance + In-House Travel Agency + 24/7 Recruiter Availability + Experienced In-House Privileging Coordinators Experience why Jackson and Coker has been recognized by Forbes and Staffing Industry Analysts for our commitment to service excellence.Apply Today!
