HR Generalist We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to join our team and play a crucial role in managing various human resource functions. This position involves a comprehensive range of HR activities aimed at fostering a positive and compliant workplace environment. Responsibilities Conduct employee orientations and ensure new hires are familiar with company policies, procedures, and benefits. Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and act as a liaison between employees and management. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Support performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on goal setting, feedback, and improvement plans. Stay informed about labor laws and regulations to ensure the company's HR practices align with legal requirements. Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends for continuous improvement. Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume roles. Utilize HR software and tools to analyze workforce data and provide strategic insights. Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and overall satisfaction. Track and report key HR metrics such as turnover rates and time-to-fill. Provide guidance to management on HR best practices and compliance matters. Essential Skills Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills. Ability to interact positively and efficiently with HR team, employees, and external partners. Proficiency in handling confidential information and building trust across all levels. Experience with HR information systems, including HRIS and payroll systems. Exceptional skills and working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience transitioning from a recruiter to an HR Generalist is highly desirable. Work Environment This position is a true contract-to-perm opportunity located in Dayton, NJ. You will be working within a small HR team and must be comfortable working on-site five days a week. The role offers a supportive environment with low turnover, emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships within the team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Brunswick, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $40.90/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
