Payroll Tax Manager

A company is looking for a Payroll Tax Manager to oversee payroll tax functions and lead a team responsible for accounting duties related to program operations. Key Responsibilities Supervise payroll tax specialist staff and manage workload, performance, and training Oversee monthly bookkeeping processes and ensure compliance with payroll tax laws Ensure accurate and timely filing of all tax deposits and reports, including various IRS forms Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline preferred; Accounting major strongly preferred Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or payroll tax processing, including supervisory responsibilities Experience with preparation and filing of Forms W-2, W-3, 1099, 1096, 941, and 940 is required Strong working knowledge of payroll, payroll taxes, and accounting principles Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
