Key Responsibilities Diagnose diseases by examining body tissues, fluids, and hematologic specimens Prepare pathology narrative reports and consult with veterinarians on test results Stay current on veterinary practices and participate in quality control programs Required Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent Diplomat of American College of Veterinary Pathologists Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the respective state
