Enrollment Specialist Goldfarb School of Nursing is looking for its next Enrollment Specialist! Onsite position in St. Louis, MO. Overview With a legacy beginning in 1902, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College has a strong tradition of educating health care professionals. Goldfarb School of Nursing is located on the Washington University Medical Campus in St. Louis and is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Goldfarb is a private nursing college that enrolls over 650 students in its baccalaureate, masters and doctoral degree programs. Goldfarb has nationally recognized educational facilities with state-of-the-art classrooms, lecture halls and sophisticated Clinical Simulation Institute labs with patient simulation manikins and exam rooms that provide high-tech, advanced nursing care experiences. Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and is approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing and Higher Education Commission. Role Purpose The enrollment specialist provides program, admission, financial aid and scholarship information to prospective students, applicants, as well as both incoming and current students. Responsibilities Maintains ongoing communication with prospective and current students to mentor them through their admissions and financial aid processes. Communication includes phone calls, e-mails, text messaging and virtual and in person appointments. Acts as a primary admissions and financial aid representative by planning and attending recruitment events that include, but are not limited to, new student orientation, virtual events, career and college fairs, group tours, community meetings, and other recruitment opportunities. Additionally, assists with targeted diversity recruitment: military, women, ethnic, geographic, and other strategies that support GSON's institutional and strategic enrollment plan. Provide financial aid counseling to prospective, incoming, and current students regarding all aspects of the financial aid process including eligibility requirements for federal, state, and institutional student aid programs, institutional scholarships, and other funding opportunities. Assists students and families with FAFSA and scholarship application completion. Monitors, organizes, and processes scholarship applications. Evaluates admission applications and transcripts using (SLATE) to maintain accurate data.
