Global Demand Planner Cervlo exists to Make Riders Faster. You'll see our bikes on the road, on the trail, and under some of the most elite athletes in the world. We're a small group of passionate riders, dedicated to delivering the best bikes in the world. It's not all CAD and wind tunnel time, though, we're headquartered in Aliso Viejo, California, a sweet corner of Orange County where you can ride on and off road year-round. The Global Demand Planner is responsible for identifying, quantifying and compiling all demand inputs into a refined demand plan to drive material and production planning. This position will be responsible for helping to align revenue projections with sales forecasts and material requirements as well as owning the global demand plan. This role will require you to be onsite at Cervelo's HQ in Aliso Viejo, CA. What Does Your Job Look Like? Organize and host six specific regional monthly Demand Planning Review meetings with the nine global markets. Present findings and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders through the standard Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Create historical review of sales data to inform key forecasting and planning activities. Review and utilize global order intake information to inform the current demand plan. Deliver annual Sales Forecast in collaboration with Commercial team(s), to include market observations, product knowledge and demand assessments. Deliver updated monthly demand plan resulting in updates to stock projections and purchasing plans. Measure forecast accuracy to achieve inventory level targets. Complete forecast accuracy root cause analysis and refine processes to ensure continuous improvement of the S&OP process. Build and maintain Commercial KPI Dashboards to monitor and communicate business performance to commercial leadership. Use data to identify trends and market opportunities and clearly communicate conclusions to stakeholders. Act as a conduit between Commercial, Operations and Finance to ensure uninterrupted flow of business. Collaborate with Commercial Leadership to develop and maintain forecasts for various global markets. Produce ad-hoc analysis for key stakeholders when needed. What You Bring To The Table? 5+ years of experience working within Demand Planning Bachelor's degree preferred Bicycle or sporting goods industry experience is preferred High level experience working within Microsoft Access, SQL, Power BI and SAP Expert Excel skills including Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), Pivot Tables and advanced formulas. Ability to analyze and summarize large sets of data to guide decision making Comfortable presenting summarized data to leadership Self-motivated to learn new skills and systems Strong prioritization and organization skills Collaborative personality that can thrive in a team environment Comfortable balancing qualitative and quantitative inputs to guide business decisions Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate and present information to all levels of management with supporting analysis and assumptions Ability to learn and apply new forecasting systems Experience working in ERP systems required, working with SAP is preferred Ability to travel internationally each year Must hold an active passport while employed Demonstrated ability improving and documenting processes Salary Range: This compensation package will be dependent on experience, qualifications, industry experience and the interview with a potential range of $80,000-$90,000. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend and explain documents in English. Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, in English.
