Patient Access Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative who will advocate for patients and provide exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities Answer inbound calls from new and existing patients and obtain necessary demographic and insurance information Schedule patient appointments and handle referrals while using critical thinking to resolve patient issues Manage multiple systems for documentation and appointment scheduling, including responding to time-sensitive communications Required Qualifications High school diploma required; college degree preferred Experience with EMR systems, such as NextGen, is preferred Knowledge of patient appointment scheduling is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Ability to maintain a professional and empathetic tone during high call volumes
