Licensed Episodic Care Manager

A company is looking for an Episodic Care Manager to support members with short-term behavioral health or medical needs in a fully remote, contract role. Key Responsibilities Manage short-term member cases by creating tailored care plans for behavioral, medical, and social complexities Collaborate with inpatient facilities, outpatient providers, and community resources for smooth transitions of care Evaluate clinical information to determine appropriate levels of care using tools such as MCG or InterQual Required Qualifications Active clinical license such as LPN, RN, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or equivalent (compact license accepted for RNs) Experience working with psychiatric populations, especially in adolescent care or eating disorder treatment Background in inpatient care, utilization management, or residential treatment settings Strong ability to interpret clinical documentation and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with utilization review tools like MCG or InterQual
