Throughout the summer, intern program managers will host a variety of development-focused activities to enhance professional development, provide exposure to all aspects of our business, and engagement events with fellow interns. Program Summary - Duration: 11 weeks, Summer 2026 Dates: June 1st August 14th - Site Visits - Weekly IKE Sessions (Information Knowledge Exchange) with Senior leadership - Skills Workshops - Weekly Coffee Chats + Coffee with the CEO - Final projects and presentations - Engagement events About the Role The Merchandising Operations Intern will support readiness and execution of high-value merchandising spaces across BJ's club locations. This role focuses on verifying that promotional and merchandising plans are executed correctly in clubs and helping build a scalable compliance and escalation process. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to how retail strategy translates into real-world store operations. What You'll Do Review and analyze compliance for high-value spaces (WOW Wall, center core, Luma carts) Identify execution gaps using data, images, and exception reports Help document and improve readiness and escalation processes Partner with Merch Ops, Clubs, Merchandising, and Planning & Allocation teams Participate in club visits to observe execution and connect insights to data Own a defined summer project and present findings at the end of the internship What We're Looking For Strong interest in retail operations or merchandising Analytical mindset; comfortable working in Excel Curious, proactive, and eager to learn Strong communication skills and attention to detail Prior retail or store-level experience is a plus What You'll Gain Exposure to merchandising execution, store operations, and cross-functional retail teams Ownership of a meaningful project with real business impact Hands-on understanding of how BJ's operates at the club level This is a hybrid role. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days. In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
