Supply Chain Manager What You'll Do: This position will plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle. Determine requirements for production based on engineering needs, forecasts, and requirements planning. Responsible for the procurement business systems data input and integrity, creation of bills of material, and component/finished goods numbers within the inventory management software. Gather data and conduct analysis with the goal of improving the organization's supply chain operations. Work to identify underperforming areas within the supply chain, suggest improvements to trending problems, and take the necessary action to implement resolutions. 70% Material Planning: Forecast and manage products for assigned categories and suppliers. Coordinate the purchase of components with internal and external work centers to ensure timely completion for new and existing products. Determine quantities and delivery dates for all instrumentation and single use production. Review forecast plans for optimal in stock levels, plan safety stock quantities and reorder points. Process purchase orders for approval and entry into the inventory management software and distribute to suppliers as required. Communicate with Suppliers on confirmation of quantity/delivery. Update Purchase Order information as needed. Update and maintain delivery dates in the inventory management system based on supplier production schedules. Enter new and maintain existing product information in the inventory management system. Ensure manufacturing drawings with tolerances are completed, accurate, up to date, and that current revisions are on file with Artisans/Suppliers. Assist in determining the disposition of products received from Suppliers through the MRB process. Cost control, verify product costs are current and accurate in the system. 15% Supply Chain Analysis: Track incoming shipments from domestic and international suppliers. Work with brokers requesting FDA/customs information for instrument artisan shipments. Expedite shipments as needed. Supplier Performance and monitoring, review score cards, on-time delivery, and quality assurance Ensure responsive action to internal customer service, shipping/receiving, QA. Conduct ongoing meetings with suppliers to discuss business relations and build trusted partnerships. Determine supplier risk, new and existing. Selection and classification Supplier development and continuous improvement 15% Create process documentation: Maintain records and files which comply with regulatory requirements. Maintains records and files that comply with Good Manufacturing Process requirements. Process Document Change Requests and route for signatures. Develop and submit reports that demonstrate supply chain and inventory performance. Miscellaneous duties as assigned The Experience, Skills and Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience. 3+ years of work experience in a supplier planning role within an ISO standardsregulated environment. Demonstrated experience supporting supply chain operations, supplier performance, or materials planning functions. Understanding of supply chain principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Clear and professional written and verbal communication abilities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data-driven work. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Excel skills Preferred Experience, Skills and Abilities: Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing. Project coordination or project management experience. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. This position is based out of our corporate office, south of downtown St. Paul. We welcome an on-site work environment Monday through Friday. Compensation We are committed to equitable and transparent pay practices. The salary range for this position is $60,200 96,300, representing the minimum and maximum of our compensation structure. Starting pay will typically fall between these values and is determined based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, and internal equity. Offers near the higher end of the range are reserved for candidates with exceptional qualifications.
