Material Handler I

Material Handler Norcross, GA Compensation Includes: Starting Pay Rate of $19.15/hour Available Shift: 2nd shift Responsibilities: Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly work environment Accurately control inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, including requisitioning, receipt, storage, handling, scanning, and shipping Accurately account for all material movements, including in-plant product holds Perform incoming trailer inspections as assigned Read and understand written specifications, procedures, safety information, and packaging diagrams Accurately control inventory throughout the entire process Other duties as necessary Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent experience Basic math and computer skills Forklift certification Ability to safely operate a forklift Good oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Must understand Warehouse Management Systems and processes Must be able to: Work 8-hour shifts, standing and walking for extended periods Climb approved ladders and movable steps Communicate effectively in verbal and written form Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 65 lbs (two-person or mechanical assist required above 65 lbs) Possess adequate problem-solving ability and determine cause-and-effect relationships in office or manufacturing environments Company Benefits Benefits With safety as our top priority and a commitment to employee well-being an important focus, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits that include medical, dental and vision insurance as well as a variety of other well-being resources focused on mental, physical and financial health.
