Desktop Migration Support Technician Apex Systems is looking to hire a Desktop Migration Support Technician for our financial client we support. Our team is embarking upon a laptop migration effort and we need savvy technicians to assist with the machine setup and distribution efforts onsite in North Richland Hills, TX. Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills: 2+ years of hands-on deskside support experience 2+ years' experience with SCCM Experience with Service Now, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 Education requirement: ASSOCIATES OR BACHELORS OR HIGHER Nice to have: CompTIA A+ certification for computer technology The Desktop Support Technicians role is to support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. That include imaging, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via incident tickets) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance where required. Job Responsibilities: Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills Able to work in a team as well as independently Ability to configure (image) laptops and desktops (SCCM imaging using thumb drives), USB PXE Boot Repair and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and company owned mobile devices Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and VPN connection issues Time management and organizational skills Attention to detail Experienced in providing professional and courteous customer service Location: North Richland Hills, TX Onsite expectation: 100% onsite Pay range: $20-$23/HR w2 Note: We are unable to consider C2C or third-party submissions.
