We are looking for individuals with the drive and desire to join our team and help us continue to grow. Summary: Responsible for handling, moving, and storage of materials and product. Essential Functions: Provide assistance to the department in the day-to-day operation of moving materials Ensure all safety features on the equipment are working properly Stage and segregate product in designated areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements Timely notification and delivery of receipts to designated personnel Use moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to safely and efficiently move inventory around the warehouse. Document movement of materials through a transfer system Complete daily preventive maintenance checklist on assigned lifts Monitor inventory by completing counts as required Package inventory for safe shipping Assemble containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions Take inventory, maintains storage area, organizes and places stock on shelves. Ensure area is secure at all times. Share ideas, improvements and recommendations for continuous improvement to help optimize results to improve safety and quality. Other duties as assigned Requirements: Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day. Forklift and pallet jack experience strongly preferred. Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift. Willingness to work overtime to complete any duties as assigned. This is manual work requiring frequent sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking. Shift Details: 3rd Shift is Sun - Wed, 4X10hr shifts, 8:15 pm 6:45 am. All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed. Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.
