Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN LVN Family Care 18145 Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: 140 S Custer Road, Suite 100 McKinney, TX 75072 Work hours: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm Family Care 18145 highlights: Fast-Paced Clinic with Growth and Development Opportunities Collaborative Work Environment No Weekends Qualifications Here's What You Need Education Accredited school of practical nursing program (Required) Experience One year of experience (Highly Preferred) Licenses and Certifications LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse (Required) And ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required) Or BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required) What You Will Do Perform basic nursing care for patients by following established standards and procedures. May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice. Collect patient data such as vital signs, note how the patient looks and acts or responds to stimuli and report this information accordingly. Prepare and administer injections, perform routine tests, treat wounds and change bandages. Prepare patient records and files using established medical record forms/automated systems and documentation practices. Administer certain prescribed medications and monitor and document treatment progress and patient response. Participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal/state laws and regulations. Monitor and document treatment progress and patient response. Convey information to patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
