Home Health Aide The Home Health Aide carries out supportive duties by performing specified, non-clinical medically related skills under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or Agency designated health care professional. Duties and Responsibilities: Provides assistance with personal care, hygiene and activities of daily living Assist client(s) to bed, commode, chair, and assist with ambulation Measures and records temperature, pulse and respiration of each client visit Follows care plan as written Performs duties of a Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant as per the scope of practice and Florida Law Change pt. bed linen as needed Conducts self in a professional manner at all times and in all situations Provides agency with all required items necessary for employment Reports any changes in patients' condition, living conditions etc. to RN/Supervisor as they occur Complies with HIPPA Privacy Rules, Policies and Procedures Qualifications: High School Graduate Preferred Must provide evidence of formal training and/or certification as a home health aide/ C.N.A as required by State Law Minimum of 1 year experience is required Must demonstrate competency training and evaluation prior to employment
