As a Security Officer - Gated Community Access Control in Coto De Caza, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will assist tenants, visitors, and property staff through clear communication and customer-focused service, while documenting observations and escalating concerns as needed. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and/or contractors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and observe activity on property; assist with visitor direction, contractor check-in, and/or parking and amenity compliance as assigned by site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Complete security-related reports and activity logs, communicate notable observations to the oncoming shift and/or property management, and assist with preserving information related to incidents. Minimum Requirements: Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Have a guard card and/or license, preferred. Have CPR and/or First Aid, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
