California Licensed Embedded Software Engineer

A company is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer specializing in SDR Development. Key Responsibilities Develop embedded C/C++ & Python software for LEON3 softcore processors and support autoboot mechanisms for FPGA initialization Collaborate with FPGA engineers for software system integration, debugging, and requirements traceability Implement and test communication protocols, including SpaceWire, and maintain Linux build environments for cross-compilation Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields At least 5+ years of experience in embedded software development or relevant roles U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residency is required Strong experience in C/C++ for embedded systems, preferably in softcore processor environments Hands-on experience with Linux build environments and cross-compilation using Gaisler tools
