Purchasing Specialist

A company is looking for a Purchasing Worker II, responsible for selecting and purchasing quality products for a business while providing procurement process support to customers and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Administer purchase orders and manage requisitions from development to completion Review purchase requisitions for budget appropriateness and policy compliance Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate for the best pricing Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in General Business required; experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree 0-1 year of directly related purchasing experience required 2-3 years of customer service support-related work preferred Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and other software Knowledge of negotiation and budgeting practices
