Payment Posting Specialist

A company is looking for a VBC Payment Posting Specialist. Key Responsibilities Accurately post a high volume of payments and ensure timely application to patient accounts Review and validate Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to confirm reimbursements and identify discrepancies Reconcile daily cash activity and maintain Excel reconciliation spreadsheets for tracking posted payments Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years' experience posting payments in a medical environment Strong understanding of medical terminology and reimbursement processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare practice management systems High school diploma or GED required; additional coursework in healthcare administration or medical billing is a plus Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsored visa support
