Seeking a BE/BC Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an expanding Cardiology Division in east-central Illinois. Details: Full-time, hospital employed position Non-Invasive Cardiologists that hold Heart Failure Certification through the HFSA or Non-Invasive Cardiologists with extensive experience in Heart Failure Cardiology are welcome to apply Fellowship training in Heart Failure & Transplant Cardiology not required Our growing Cardiology team includes 2 Heart Failure Cardiologists, 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 8 Non-Invasive Cardiologists, and 3 Electrophysiologists Seven Advanced Practice Nurses in the Cardiology Department work closely with the Cardiologists in all patient care activities The practice will consist of 50% Heart Failure and 50% Non-Invasive Cardiology (LVAD and transplants are not performed at this location) Hybrid inpatient rounding model; inpatient rotations occur 2 weeks/month with 6 8 outpatient Cardiology patients/day in addition to inpatient responsibilities 8 AM 4 PM schedule during outpatient weeks with 12-14 patients/day Participate in General Cardiology call (every 8 12 weeks) Cover only one hospital New state-of-the-art Heart Center, located adjacent to Hospital Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation System-wide EPIC EMR About the Heart and Vascular Institute: The Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is an integrated organizational entity with structural and functional integration of Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Interventional Radiology.
